Caroline D’Amore pre-show at the Roxy – Photography and Video by Henry Flores

I caught up with Caroline D’Amore pre-show at the very famous Roxy Night Club as she prepared to present all her music live. It all started as I arrived at the Roxy. I got there a bit early cause I didn’t want any trouble at the door. I was actually there before the security and door people got there, just as the band was finishing the final touches on stage. I went inside and then upstairs and I started to look for any sign of life. It wasn’t until I walked into one of the dressing rooms that I noticed my friend and my photographic subject, Caroline D’Amore (http://www.carolinedamore.net). She was running around getting all the final preparations done with make up, hair, and everything else that goes on before the performance. Her performance was incredible. It was choreographed by Brittany Hughes. After her show, I captured Caroline D’Amore hanging out and kissing with her boyfriend Bobby Alt, who is the singer and drummer of Street Drum Corps. I quickly took the opportunity to have them pose for a few artistic photos of the couple on the red and blue running lights along the upstairs hallway. I told them to get into a position and then not to move. I was going to be shooting at 1/8th of a second, even my heartbeat, could make my shots blurry. Somehow, I was able to pull it off.

Ricky Gervais is a Comic God

We adore Ricky Gervais, not just for starting The Office trend. He’s a genuinely hilarious guy, so we count ourselves lucky for having snapped his picture yesterday, as he was briefly outside Capital Radio in London, England. Ricky has been giving some tips and jokes to Hugh Jackman for Hugh’s upcoming Oscar award hosting duties, but we think Ricky would have done a fine job himself. If you missed it, below is the video of Ricky’s presentation at the 2008 Emmy’s. Great stuff, and thanks for the wave yesterday, Ricky!

Welcome Back to NYC, Chevy!

We will always love Chevy Chase – the man is a comedic legend and despite his shy tendencies, we always look forward to having him in our lens. We saw Chevy as he was leaving JFK airport after arriving in New York City yesterday, all bundled up in a coat and busily chatting away on his cell phone. He did give us a smile, which was very nice of him to do. Enjoy a classic Chavy Chase moment below!

Joseph is an Interviewer

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is quite well-known for his fascination (and hatred) of the paparazzi – in fact, he went after and confronted a pair of particularly pesky snappers once. Not our guys of course…we’re nice. But you can watch Joseph’s encounter below.

Anyway, Joseph was all over Main Street at the Sundance Film Festival yesterday in Park City, Utah. Joseph brought his camera with him, just in case he wanted another impromptu interview.

Lindsay Lohan NYE 2009 Mansion Nightclub Drama Club

By now you have probably watched Lindsay Lohan’s drama club performance while hosting the New Year’s Eve party at Mansion in Miami Beach. During the day, this banner could be spotted flying up and down the coast enticing party goers to get those tickets by calling the number shown. Judge for yourself if this is true love or the corroborative facts as seen through the eyes of god-fearing Michael Lohan!

Kanye is an American Boy

Kanye West did some post-Christmas shopping this weekend with friends in Beverly Hills. Kanye’s love of name brands was indulged at the Chanel store. After the group left the store they headed out in a Mercedes sports car.

We still love Kanye despite his cockiness, but we hope that he realizes that his cocky attitude is only tolerated when he’s on top. Luckily he is, especially with his new feature credit on American Boy by Estelle….but there’s no telling when and if Kanye will topple. Watch out, K.

Ross lost a ton of weight a few years ago, and has kept himself looking svelte and healthy.
