New York is the cultural capital of American and possible the world. Well, Paris probably takes the number one slot for the world. Writers, poets and actors have all passed though New York sharing with the city their great artistic talent. They first landed on Ellis Island and now arrive via JFK. Let’s see there has been Picasso, Matisse, Helen Levitt, Fitzgerald, Dylan, Mark Rothko and of course our dear Emma Lazarus. The list is long and legendary.
