Hmmm…wonder if she was busy reading a some Balzac on this dreary wintry mix day!!

Uma Runs Away From the Runway

Uma Thurman and her millionaire fiance Arpad Busson ran for their lives from the paparazzi after the Diane von Furstenburg fashion show at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City, New York The two must have been really looking to hide; They escaped down Fifth Avenue by pedal cab, while Uma tried to hide her face.

Uma’s Maybe Marriage?

Ever one to sniff out a story, our Christopher Peterson was on the beat yesterday in New York City. He got these fab fotos of Uma Thurmanas she left her townhouse with her two children (with Ethan Hawke), as well as her fiance, Arpad Busson. Prior to leaving, an enormous amount of party rental tables and catering stuff was loaded onto a box truck. Did Uma and Arpad get married or have an engagement party? When asked, one of the drivers stated “You should have been there last night!”. This comes on the recent reports that Ethan Hawke and his pregnant nanny, Ryan Shawhughes, were married several weeks ago. Hmmm…we will continue to keep our eye on this story.

Uma’s So Drab

Uma Thurman has been wearing the most awful outfits while filming for her upcoming movie Motherhood. The one she is wearing in this foto from the set, from New York City, is one of the better looks she’s sported. We hate the fact that busy mothers are often portrayed as frazzled ladies who don’t have the time or patience to dress themselves or look great. Plenty of busy working mothers across the world always begin the day looking fabulous (take Carine Roitfeld, editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, for example) and still are great mothers. We hope this movie has a positive message and not the same, recycled one about busy, crazy moms.

Where Do You Draw The Line?

Photographing the children of public figures is a touchy subject. At the end of the day, this is what the magazines and the readers want to see and it is the career path that the parents chose.

We checked the blogs before putting out this set and the internet is loaded with fotos of Uma Thurman with her children so this will not be the first time they have been exposed to the media. What are your thoughts on this issue?

These photographs were taken yesterday outside the New York home of Ethan Hawke where he was holding a birthday party for his daughter Maya Ray. Uma showed up with their son Levon who was quick to alert mom to the friendly paparazzi.

Frumpy Uma

Uma tried to hide from photographers in a frumpy get up and raincoat earlier this week as she returned to her trailer after filming a scene from Motherhood at Billy’s Bakery on Sixth Avenue in New York City. We never understand why Uma has such a negative reaction from fotos being taken of her; photographers are usually a great enough distance away that they cause her no harm or annoyance. Put down the hood Uma!
