America Ferrera has been suffering lately as the set of Ugly Betty has moved New York City from California. Her layered, nerdy-neon-chic look must have her roasting like a peanut in the shell. And most times, they just look crazy fro comedy’s sake. But this look, from scenes shot yesterday: while it’s pretty ridiculous and over the top, We can totally imagine some eccentric fashion type wearing this look to work on a normal weekday. Or if we took a trip to an M.I.A. concert in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, we are positive that at least 5 identical looks would pop up before the show even started. And 10 girls would have those tights. If they keep styling American like this, the show could bring in a whole new fan base.
