Tyra on the Town
When it comes to supermodels, we’re torn between our favorite black, wig-wearing, tall and over-the-top hostess – RuPaul or her very similar-ish Tyra Banks. Both are so fierce that we’ll have to leave it up to a tie. We saw TyTy leaving the Waverly Inn in the West Village yesterday, after spending a night out with er celebrity pals Kelly Roland and Serena Williams. Tyra needed help stepping off the icy sidewalk as she was wearing grey high heeled boots. Well, we must suffer for fashion.

That Was Way Harsh, Ty
Super Diva and model Tyra Banks was looking rather austere in an all-black get up when she attended the after party for the 2008 Glamour Awards in New York City, New York. Not sure if we approve of this one, Ty – it looks like something you’d wear to a very, VERY somber funeral. When the supermodel refused to stop for fans, one angry bystander yelled “You’re fat”. Wow! That was a bit uncalled for if you ask us.

Tyra’s Bare Face
Tyra Banks left her New York City apartment yesterday hiding behind a black sweatshirt and a huge Prada bag. Why? Tyra clearly was headed to the gym or some other place where glamour is not a necessity. She didn’t have on makeup, and she didn’t have in her trademark multicolored long locks. Hair extensions probably aren’t a good choice when hitting the gym.

TyTy’s Gonna Be Pissed
Pretty girls aren’t always clean. And that apparently applies especially in the case of the newest America’s Next Top Model cycle. The New York Post is reporting today that the long-legged gals were also long on the partying, too
“These girls not only destroyed the floors, it appears they had food fights. There’s ketchup and coffee splattered all over the landlord’s $20,000 white drapes. There’s lipstick on the walls,” said the insider. “They moved in furniture and made holes all along the walls.”
Hmm, we thought that these reality-type shows liked it when the contestants got into food fights. Makes for good TV and all.
“The show offered to settle for $125,000, but has not paid [the landlord] any money, according to our insider. The landlord now plans to file a lawsuit against the show.”
We think that ANTM should just invest in a place of their own! Tyra could come make those girls whip that place into shape in no time. Tyra Banks, by the way, did not return calls for a comment.

Tyra Banks At Mr Chows
We found the lovely Tyra Banks recently at Mr Chows in Beverly Hills and she looked incredible. She was at Chow’s for a four hour dinner where she gave a speech. Sorry that we do not have more detials, but no one gave us a press release for the evening. We do not respond well to any choreographed PR situation where the flack shove a press release in our face. No editor publishing this photograph will care anything about a speech all they want to know is what she is wearing and who she was there with. This is the biz today. Regardless, we are big fans of Tyra’s and she is one class act.
