The Always Cheerful Tonya Huskey

Costume Supervisor Tonya Huskey, looked about as happy as she gets on the set of Gossip Girl in Chelsea, New York the other day. Stylish as usual, she sported a French beret as she checked on the cast and made sure things were in order. Judging by the perma-frown on her face, we hope for the sake of the cast, that everything was smooth.

Tonya Huskey is Not Happy

It did not seem like a good day for Tonya Huskey as we caught up with her on the set of Gossip Girl in Queens, New York yesterday. While all the other stars were happy to see us, Tonya was in her own world as she chatted on the phone and didn’t seem happy about it. Maybe Tonya has a lot on her mind, she is the costume supervisor for the hit TV show afterall.

According to Jaq Greenspon, author of Film Buffs, “The costumer supervisor works for the designer and acts as a liason between the designer and the key costumers. On the set, the supervisor oversees all the costumes, handling any problems that might arise. If there are any changes that need to be made and the dsigner is not avaible, the supervisor is there to accomplish them. ”
