What a treat to photograph Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes in Los Angeles – we’re so used to seeing them in New York City these days that it was a bit of a shock to grab them in our lens via the West Coast. But grab them we did at, where else, Il Sole – the place where celebs are often in and out to dine. The celebrity couple du jour had a tasty dinner at Il Sole Restaurant last night in West Hollywood, California. Katie Holmes was looking a bit tired as she exited their car and entered the restaurant. Tom Cruise was a total gentleman and opened the door for her. They were accompanied by Tom’s daughter, Isabella Cruise. They left looking happy and satisfied – something that will always happen after a visit to the lovely Il Sole!

Tom Cruise appeared on the today show not too long ago. If you haven’t seen his interview, we’ll post it here. Actually, we’ll post both interview for comparison. The one where Tom appeared all kinds of crazy and the latest one where Tom says he regrets that he came off arrogant in 2005.

Tom has been doing his best to reshape his image as he promotes his new film Valkyrie about the real life attempt on Hitler’s life. He has been in the business 25 years and has a famous family and relationship. He told people: “I just love every moment,” he gushed. “We’ve got the teenagers and I’ve got the two-and-half year old and to have that I feel lucky.”

He also boasts that Suri Cruise is a little genius.
“Her vocabulary is incredible,” Tom Cruise told PEOPLE Monday night at the New York premiere of Valkyrie.
Still, his favorite words are some of the most simple. “I love hearing ‘I love you, dada,’ or, ‘I love you, mama.’ ”

It is the best steak house in Beverly Hills. Order the shrimp coctail for a starter. It comes with overflowing dry ice foam. The shrimp are the size of a Cadillac. Then order a steak and you will be in heaven. The crowd there is very eclectic and great fun. The best part of Mastros is Gary the piano player, who we are proud to say that we are on a first name basis. Go there and you will not be disapointed. Guess who was there last night? Tom Cruise and his bride Katie Holmes. The photos are really cool and once again Picasso did a marvellous job capturing the evening. That is a vintage Corvette that the couple drove off in. World got out in a hurry about this and every photo agency in town was there.

Hey, Tom is a great Dad. He spends more time with his kids in a week than most parents spend with their kids in a month. Ok, so he can afford to and most of us have to work 80 hours a week to get by. During the school season, he and Katie spend their weekends being hounded by the paparazzi so that they can watch his kids compete in their school sports. Isabella is on her school’s soccer team and Conner is on his school’s football team. Katie is also always there to cheer the kids on and cuddle with Tom. Actually, they look like the perfect American family. Like the reruns from the “Donna Reed Show” or “Leave it to Beaver”. We think it is really, really nice. Only question that comes to mind is, where’s Nicole Kidman?
