Playmate Of The Century!

Back in 1980 when we were running our first photo agency, California Features International, Inc we had this amazing house up in the hills. Swimming pool, a photo studio, office space and even bridge that lead to the property. All that for a grand a month!

Major stars like Matt Dillon, Leif Garrett and Joan Jett were there in the studio. We did not have e mail back then so we ran all of our international correspondence via a telex which was clattering all night long. These were incredible times.

When you run an international photo agency out of your home to tend to attract celebrities, models and Playmates! That was the case with our friend Teri Peterson who was the July 1980 Playmate. She was without a doubt the most beautiful and talented Playmate EVER.

We were delighted that we had the chance to take some fotos of Teri back in 1980. This rare b/w photograph was done in our kitchen just before her Playboy publication.

We did this photo with one our the first Canon Sure Shot point and shoot cameras that we had just picked up on a recent trip to Tokyo. If he made this photograph in color, it probably would not have had the same effect and would not have looked so dated.

We still see Teri today and she runs her own very successful pilates business and she is more beautiful than ever. She is as lovely on the inside as on the outside.
