Russell Simmons has a big grin on his face as he and his girlfriend Julie Henderson ride bikes along South Beach in Miami. The envy of all guys, Russell Simmons and his gorgeous swimsuit model girlfriend Julie went for an afternoon bike ride together along the beach. The pair were chatting and looked very much in love as they peddled along in conversation. When Russell and Julie saw our cameras they rode by with a big warm smile and friendly greetings for us! She is intelligent and beautiful, a gal the Russell’s mother would definitely approve of!

Russell Simmons and girlfriend Julie Henderson have an afternoon on the beach and in the water on Miami Beach. The couple hit the beach with a heat index of 106 degrees on Miami! Russell had some meditation time while Julie read a magazine and then her book. The couple cooled down and went for a swim. They were playful as Russell started the splashing and Julie got some revenge! It was very cute and they waded out beyond a sandbar for some private time. When they came in they were in very high spirits as we left them for the remainder of the day for some time alone.

Russell and Nick are Mogul Mavericks

We’ve been loving Nick Cannon‘s new obsession with Twitter – hilarious tweets and a lot of personal interaction. So it was with real pleasure that we were on hand to help Nick celebrate his recent appointment to “Execustar” of Nickelodeon at the Waverly Inn in New York City last night. Nick was joined by his friend Russell Simmons, who could surely give him some pointers on being an execustar! Nick told us that he was excited for his wife, Mariah Carey’s, upcoming birthday. He said he planned on trying to find her a bald eagle as a gift. Interesting. Well, we imagine that it must be tough to buy that girl something that she doesn’t already have.

Russell Has Friendly Fire

Russell Simmons may have turned his sights more to business and philanthropy and less on producing, but we know that he is never going to fade from the hip hop scene that he worked so hard to establish. Russell was looking well when we saw him a few nights ago, leaving Britney Spear’s Birthday Party at Tenjune in New York City, New York. Russell was escorted by three police offers who took him to his car parked a block away from the party.

A Hamptons Weekend

There are Memorial Day parties all up and down the east cost this weekend including Hamptons Magazine annual kick off summer magazine party at the home of Jason Binn. Kim Cattrall who adorns the latest Hamptons cover and she was there in the flesh along with Desi and Kyle Mclaughlin who are expecting their first child in July, Bobby and Jill Zarin of Real Housewives of NYC and Porschla Coleman and Russell Simmons. Then last night Kim Kardashian Hosted the Whitehouse party where she showed off her Marie-lise Lachapelle orchid necklace.

We were busy on Venice Beach dinning and dancing with our friends Eckhart, Renee and Colette. Sorry, no fotos!

Russell is Phat in Argyle

We’ve seen Russell Simmons sporting a ton of argyle lately, and yesterday was no different. We snapped this foto of Russell leaving the Waverly Inn yesterday in New York City. He was smiling and listening to his MP3 player as he left. So why all the argyle? He sold his Phat Farm label a few years ago, and we thought he was done with textiles. Turns out Russell is back in the clothing business with his new label Russell Simmons Argyle Culture. Interesting. Nothing is up for sale yet, but you can check out the site for his new line here.
