The always-delightful Russell Brand seems to be spending more and more time in L.A., and we’re glad for it. It’s always a pleasure to see this British comedian. Russell went window shopping yesterday at the high-profile Sunset Plaza with a friend. We’ve always liked Russell’s signature style, and his torn black sweater over a brown tank top is no exception. Russell also accessorized with a silver skull chain. Now that we’re not sure we can get behind. Silver skulls are passe in West Hollywood.

Russell Brand is Boho Chic
Russell Brand hung out on a street corner in Los Angeles, California yesterday with, who else, a lady friend. Russell, the man who has been rumored to claim that he is with several new women every night, was with a mystery female as he waited on the sidewalk. The mystery female was even seen getting close to Russell. Russell has been rumored to be in Los Angeles doing some work and some comedy shows after facing some criticism in the UK after making what have been called “obscene phone calls” to legendary British Actor Andrew Sachs. The calls have been named “Sachsgate” since the controversy for Russell Brand’s BBC Radio show allegedly have caused his resignation.

Russell Brand is Not Happy
We caught up with British star Russell Brand as he exited the trendy music venue, Largo at the Coronet in Los Angeles, California. Russell performed a stand-up comedy show that night and did not look like he was in the mood to for laughing. Perhaps Russell is grumpy because of reports that sales for his books are down after Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross were accused of making obscene phone calls to Andrew Sach as part of their BBC Radio 2 show. The two made what were described as lewd remarks about Sach’s granddaughter and the event has sent reported outrage among Great Britain. Jonathan Ross’s sales have dropped almost half while Russell Brand has seen his sales from his new book, Articles of Faith, drop from 1,852 to 1,684. It looks like fans of Brand have lost faith in the star.

English comedian, actor and columnist Russell Brand was looking like his typical self with his high bouffant hair and bohemian attire. He was at the Blender Theater at the Gramercy yesterday for his second show of the week in New York City, New York. Russell has been dating Australian model and actress Teresa Palmer since June 2008. In Russell’s defense, 2 months in Russell Brand land is like 2 years for anyone else.

So Long, Russell
How much do we love Russell Brand for choosing to wear flip flops with this ensemble? So much, you don’t even know. Most people don’t get a free pass on fashion, but Russell is one of them if you ask us. He’s an original, and we like that. We’re just a bit bummed that he’s back in his native Britain and hope that he will grace our shores again soon! We do have these excellent fotos of Russell leaving a building in Kentish Town yesterday, to appease us. Russell fooled around with friends some friends before getting into a cab and jetting off.
