How They Have Fallen

When some people fall out of the limelight, the hit the bottom of the barrel pretty hard. Ron Jeremy looked like a beggar as he left Foxtail Lounge last night. We hope he wasn’t expecting photographer (we were the only ones to grab him), because going out in sweats and Crocs is just sad. Crocs basically say “I’ve given up.” Let’s face it, Ron Jeremy was never a really classy, sophisticated guy in the first place, but you’d think he’d have the decency to look presentable at Foxtail Lounge. He looks like he smells bad.

In The Street

Remember when Helen Levitt traveled up to Harlem in the thirties and forties with her pals James Agee and Janice Lobe to make those incredibly breathtaking photographs of life in the poorest quarters on New York. Helen took the photographs, Janice had the 16mm camera the James, the poet wrote the words. The team even produced a beautiful film entitled
” In The Street”. We will never forget those photographs which today sell for record prices at the New York auctions.

Sure you could attempt to replicate those photographs, but today it is all about the celebrity. The mainstream does not care about wonderful photo journalism. That is evident when you pick up a copy of People Magazine.

Not too sure who will publish this photograph taken yesterday of Ron Jeremy leaving the bank, but it certainly caught our eye.
