The Two Roberts 1976

It is a slow Thanksgiving weekend so we want to share with you some Paparazzi photos from the Seventies. There is no better way to spend your weekend then dreaming about the Seventies.

This was the scene backstage at The Roxy in 1976 with Bob Dylan meeting for the very first time, Robert DeNiro. Dylan heard that De Niro was downstairs in the crowd and he specifically asked Sally Kirkland to drag up De Niro for a meeting.

Yep, we were there to take the foto!

Art, Culture, Society & A Paparazzo

Robert De Niro was attending a classy reception for the 150th Anniversary of iconic, literary magazine, The Atlantic last night in New York. The guests were a diverse group of guests drawn from areas such as media, arts & culture, and society and that included Justin who wined, dined and photographed some incredible stars. Can you image being a young Paparazzo and being invited to photograph Robert De Niro!

Bob Dylan, Robert De Niro & Buzz Foto 1976

Ah, we remember taking this photo like it was yesterday. We were invited to Ronee Blakley’s showcase at The Roxy in the fall of 1976 and out of the blue after her set, Bob Dylan arrives backstage. Dylan was the Howard Hughes of Rock N’ Roll for the photo market and his photos were rare and extremely marketable. We were all upstairs having a great time partying when Sally Kirkland tells Bob that Robert DeNiro is downstairs and at Bobby’s command she heads downstairs to inform DeNiro that he is wanted upstairs for a personal meeting with Dylan. DeNiro does not believe his ears and heads upstairs and poses for a set of iconic photographs that end up gracing the pages of People Mag the following week. It is incredible how you can make a 30 year career on a set of photographs which put you on the map. You can do it too! Let us show you how!
