Buzz Foto Iconic: Who’s This Girl?

Do not attempt to adjust your monitor! There is nothing wrong with it. This photograph was made in black and white about 30 years ago and most photography back then was not done in color. Hard to believe that now in the digital age. The lovely girl in the photograph is Nicolette Sheridan when she was still a teenager. Her boyfriend at the time was Jimmy Van Patten, one of the nicest guys in show business. We do not have a clue where we took this iconic image, but Nicolette sure was cute back then. Did you know that besides Leif Garrett and Jimmy Van Patten, Nicolette also dated Tim Hutton?

You Would NEVER Get This Foto Today!

Do you think you could set up this photo session today? Think again. This photo was taken in 1980 and we never lifted a finger to set it up. They called us to take this amazing iconic photograph.

Leif Garret was a good pal of ours and he was dating Nicolette Sherian who was about 17 at the time. Her name was Nicolette Adams back then and she was about to sign up at Elite to become a model. Leif called up and asked or rather begged us to come over and take these sexy shots of them together at his home.

You try doing this today. Nicolette must have an army of press and repress agents all around her and there would be so many rules and restrictions. You see, back then there were no hair, makeup or stylists. Today to make this frame you would need hair, make up, dancing midgets, lights, glam squads, catering trucks and rather short and officious PR flacks running around with their clipboards. Ah what a life back in those days! We love this town!

Make The Foto Sexy

It is not easy to get an exciting photograph of a celebrity walking out of a restaurant. You really need to work it. Mr. Nunez make this sexy photo of Nicolette Sheridan as she came out of Mr. Chow last night. Sure we had photos of her walking out with Michael Bolton, but that is just boring. This is the photograph that works. Good job Mr. Nunez. Dinner tonight at Chows?

This Foto Should Get An Oscar!

Everything about this photograph is perfect. Best part is that beautiful late afternoon light. Our L.A. lighting is some of the best in the world. This is why Helmut Newton spent half of the year here with June and the other half in Monte Carlo. It was all about the light. For you aspiring Paparazzi, remember to turn off your strobes late in the day when you have this wonderful magic light. You will produce a much more interesting photo. Going back to our pal Nicolette, pictured here yesterday in Beverly Hills, she photographs beautifully in just about any light.
