Part of the reason we love to photograph Fashion Week so heavily is for the rather odd assortment of stars that it brings together. For instance, at what other time are we going to have the opportunity to photograph Misha Barton, Minka Kelly and Kristen Bell together? The three starlets attended the Miss Sixty fashion show during fashion week a few days ago in New York City, New York, as they sat next to one another and chatted during the show.
We learned back in 1976 when we photographed Bob Dylan with Robert De Niro that all the action was backstage. The press room is a bore and you need to find a cool story that no one else is covering if you want to move photos to magazines and newspapers these days. Look at this really lovely photo of Misha Barton taken today backstage at the Miss Sixty spring 2007 fashion show. What makes this photo cosmic is her vintage Eagles t shirt.
