Ryan Phillippe has told sources that he is ready to call it quits where his acting career is concerned. The Huffpo Reports:

“I think I’m going to end my acting career,” he told the Post. “I’m so introverted. I’m ready to be behind the scenes. I’m 36, but I’ve been doing this for 20 years.”

Phillippe has long been the subject of photographers’ cameras; he was married to Reese Witherspoon, and has been dating Amanda Seyfried since the winter. He’s gotten a bad rap of sorts for his relationships; he allegedly cheated on ex-girlfriend Abbie Cornish, whom he broke up with in 2010, and was accused of cheating on Witherspoon as their marriage ended in divorce in 2006.
