Liza Minnelli performed and signed her CD and book at Barnes and Noble in Lincoln Square in New York City, New York. It was standing room only for a room packed full of fans of Liza Minnelli as she signed autographs. Fans allegedly waited in line in the morning hours of 7 am in the freezing cold snowy weather for a 6pm shows at the book store. Liza looked great, trim and energetic with flawless skin.
Here is one that brings back memories from 1982. We were invited to a party after a Liza Minnelli concert at Universal Studios. David Geffen was there with Qunicy Jones and Michael Jackson. The group photo was a total bore. This is one that stands out. These were major stars and you can not grasp the enormity of this photograph!!
What an incredible moment this must have been to be standing in the rain with Liza Minnelli and taking her foto. Liza is one of the greatest performers around today and this photo has everything go for it. A giant star posing in the rain and beautifully captured. We just wish that she would lose the cigarettes, but hey we are capturing life imitating art.
This was a party that CBS Records threw for Michael Jackson around 1980. Not a clue why Liza Minnelli was there, but who cares, it make a fun foto.
