Lionel Richie did a little post-Christmas shopping this weekend in Los Angeles, California. Lionel hit up several stores on Rodeo Drive, where he gave us a big grin. Lionel is currently preparing for his upcoming appearance on Dick Clark’s ABC special, New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, to help promoted his next Island studio album titled Just Go.
The paparazzi business is a busy one these days – lots of competition, lots of flooding the market. And it looks like we may soon have even MORE competition! Lionel Richie visited Samy’s Camera in Beverly Hills yesterday, where he purchased a Nikon D3 Digital Professional Camera and a couple lenses. Will he be getting in on the pap biz? We think he probably bought all that stuff to take some pics of his sweet little granddaughter Harlowe – you know Lionel is probably a doting grandpapa. Good luck with your new camera, Lionel!

We prefer Lionel Richie to Nicole. He has something not often found in Tinseltown nowadays. The ever more elusive thing called talent.
Big sale at Barney’s going on now. Lionel Richie was spotted there today with his girlfriend. Next time you are at Barney’s make sure you stop at the bar cafe on the top floor. Wonderful ambiance and you will always spot some celebrities.
