Leighton Meester gave her on-screen love interest Ed Westwick a big old smooch yesterday. The two were busily filming Gossip Girl in front of the chic Plaza Hotel in New York City, New York. We love the way that the folks at GG paid attention to the color composition of this shot. Leighton’s bag…the flowers…her shoes. It’s all just gorgeous. Nice job, Christopher, capturing this magic. We spotted American actress Leighton Meester walking through Soho with co-star Chace Crawford while filming a scene for Gossip Girl in New York City, New York yesterday. It’s hard to choose which of the Gossip Girls is best-dressed. Wait, scratch that. Honestly, Leighton by far takes the prize, though we think that Blake and Taylor make a case for themselves. We love the way that Leighton is wearing this whole ensemble. It’s not easy to rock the dark tights with a lighter shoe, but Blake pulls it off with style.

The always lovely Leighton Meester continued to dazzle our fashion sensibilities when we saw her yesterday. Leighton’s costume this time consisted of a gorgeous plaid coat, very high heels and a shiny red purse. Take note ladies, if you’re going to opt for the dark tight/light shoe combo, it can be done properly. Of course it helps if you’re Leighton Meester. “He is not engaged,” a rep for Sebastian told Access Hollywood while denying reports claiming that the two were headed down the aisle.
