You Would NEVER Get This Foto Today!

Do you think you could set up this photo session today? Think again. This photo was taken in 1980 and we never lifted a finger to set it up. They called us to take this amazing iconic photograph.

Leif Garret was a good pal of ours and he was dating Nicolette Sherian who was about 17 at the time. Her name was Nicolette Adams back then and she was about to sign up at Elite to become a model. Leif called up and asked or rather begged us to come over and take these sexy shots of them together at his home.

You try doing this today. Nicolette must have an army of press and repress agents all around her and there would be so many rules and restrictions. You see, back then there were no hair, makeup or stylists. Today to make this frame you would need hair, make up, dancing midgets, lights, glam squads, catering trucks and rather short and officious PR flacks running around with their clipboards. Ah what a life back in those days! We love this town!

Guess Who Is The Dream Girl With Leif?

Any idea who the stunning 18 year old model is with Leif Garrett back in 1980? It is Nicolette Sheridan and she was a goddess. She really broke Leif’s heart, but that is life. Getting this photo session was easy. Leif called us up and said ” get over here right away and bring your camera”! Just try getting a photo session with her today. Forget it. At the end of the day, the editors would rather have a Paparazzi shots of celebrities than anything at home and posed. The times have certainly changed and Paparazzi is now art.

Ok, While we are on the subject of Nicolette. We ran into Leif Garrett the other night at Buzz Foto photographer Brad Elterman’s Like It Was Yesterday exhibition and party at the Next Models office. What does Leif have to do with Nicolette? He was her first love and they did a steaming photo session at Leif’s house ( when his mom was not at home ) while she was the tender age of 17. The session was done in her tiny bikini and Leif was in heaven.

Yeah, we know that this is not a Paparazzi photo, but it is a real blast from the past. This photo was taken by Buzz Foto photographer, Brad Elterman in 1980 of Sheridan with her then rocker boyfriend, Leif Garrett. It was the very first pro photo ever taken of Nicolette and she was all of 17. “She was to die for and they just came out of the pool,” says Brad. ” Back then there were no Glam Squads with hair, make up or PR’s hanging around to ruin your day. According to Brad, Leif’s manager had to kill several of the photos due to his err, well visible excitement.
