The extremely talented Kanye West decided to take a break from rap and enjoy the (supposed) finer things in life. Kanye and his strikingly lovely girlfriend Amber Rose arrived at the Metropolitan Opera’s 125th Gala performance at Lincoln Center in New York City, New York yesterday for a bit of culture. We think that Kanye is one of the most talented guys in the music biz right now, and his choice in girlfriend only shows off more good taste!

Oh snap! We reported how Miley Cyrus was dissed by Radiohead after they snubbed her at the Grammys. It doesn’t end there! Sources are reporting that during the taping for his episode of VH1′s Storytellers, Kanye West had his tender feelings wounded too when Thom Yorke of Radiohead snubbed him as well.
“When he performed at the Grammys, I sat the f–k down,” the rapper said.
Thom, responded with his dukes up in a blog post on the band’s website with a wink and a nudge to both stars. “Wish us all a safe journey if you still like us and you’re not one of those people I have managed to offend by doing nothing,” Yorke writes.
Hey, that’s a shout out right there! It doesn’t get any better than that from the British band!
We’re waiting for Kanye’s response….

Kanye and Amber Enjoy the Weekend

Kanye West and his alleged girlfriend Amber Rose had a nice lunch at Le Petit Four Restaurant in the Sunset Plaza yesterday in West Hollywood, California. Kanye and Amber did some shopping at H. Lorenzo Clothing Boutique and headed to to their car, while being surrounded by fans who took their picture with their camera phones and compact cameras. Kanye and Amber then drove off in his 800K USD Mercedes McLaren SLR. Amber’s shoes are killer – we’re digging her style, and we bet Kanye is too. Hmm, is this a fauxmance or true love? Our money is on faux, but hey. We’d love to be proved wrong, as they make a cute couple.

Kayne and Amber Rose Out Again

Kanye West and Amber Rose were spotted together again at the Vivienne Westwood Red Label 2009 Catwalk Show at the National Hall in London, England. Source have reported that the two have been spied hanging on dates with video model Amber Rose, who’s known for dancing and appearing in music videos such as Ludacris’ “What Them Girls Like,” Young Jeezy’s “Vacation,” and for her very sexy, half-naked photo shoot for Smooth Magazine.

So, are we to assume they’re an official couple now?

Kanye West did some post-Christmas shopping this weekend with friends in Beverly Hills. Kanye’s love of name brands was indulged at the Chanel store. After the group left the store they headed out in a Mercedes sports car.

We still love Kanye despite his cockiness, but we hope that he realizes that his cocky attitude is only tolerated when he’s on top. Luckily he is, especially with his new feature credit on American Boy by Estelle….but there’s no telling when and if Kanye will topple. Watch out, K.

No Flashing Lights For Kanye

So Kanye West got arrested this afternoon in LA on vandalism charges. He and his body guard broke a paparazzoÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s camera after he became enraged at LAX. Man, this guy runs too hot and cold. Just last week at the airport, this guy was all smiles for us. But we have seen KanyeÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s grumpy side before. These pictures were taken in 2006 when our photog caught up with Kanye and his bodyguard in Los Angeles. The two were not pleased to see our camera and Kanye pointed at his bodyguard to come after our guy. Luckily for our photog, he was able to go to his car and lock his doors. When the body guard approached his car, our guy made sure the body guard knew KanyeÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s little tantrum was being caught on film and the body guard backed away. Not so for the unlucky guy who got his camera turned into an expensive paper weight this afternoon.

Kanye was looking completely happy when he arrived ate Los Angeles International Airport in sunny L.A. Kanye was very friendly at first, but quickly began to block his face from the camera. The reason soon became apparent as the camera flashes alerted hordes of screaming girls to his presence. Kanye West was extremely kind to his fans as he smiled and posed for pictures with them. What a gentleman! Thanks Kanye, and we hope our flashes didn’t bug you too much.

It was really nice to see Kanye West smiling yesterday as he made his way into the Go Ape clothing launch in Hollywood, California. The guy has had some rough times lately after the death of his mother, and the rumor going around is that he and his fiance have split as well. But Kanye looked happy here in a pair of technicolor green pants and a rolled up blouse. Kanye blogs on his website, and we always read it. He recently said that after the death of his mother, playing the children’s game Connect Four is the only way he could keep himself from going crazy with grief.
