French superstar Johnny Hallyday took a spin yesterday in his Blue custom supercharged Funny Car Roadster which had a 427 Engine! Tres magnifique! Its a lovely vehicle, and we weren’t surprised when Johnny took it to a local Unical 76 Gasoline station in Beverly Hills, where they gave his car the special treatment. Johnny waited outside his car as he received full service from the attendants. We particularly love that shirt he’s wearing with a marijuana leaf on the back, and we’re completely in LOVE with this gorgeous shot from our Scotty Wilson! Johnny waved goodbye as he took off.
Johnny Hallyday is a legend in his home country of France – in fact he’s often called the French Elvis. This legend has been retired since 2007, so imagine how lucky we were to catch Johnny out with his family for dinner last night. Johnny and his wife Laeticia Boudou had dinner at Mr Chow’s restaurant in West Hollywood, California. They were accompanied by their super-cute daughter Jade. Aw, what a nice looking family. The threesome posed for photographers as they exited the restaurant.

This dude is Johnny Hallyday and in France he was bigger than Elvis. He sold a zillion records and now is a regular L.A. visitor. Mr. Nunez was able to get a wonderful set of photos of Johnny yesterday on Rodeo Drive and that is not an easy accomplishment with Johnny who is a bit camera shy. These photos are hot, but probably will only sell in Europe and especially in France and Switzerland, where Johnny spends most of his time these days. Did you know that one of Johnny’s best pals is a famous Paparazzo?
