Jesse is the New Justin

Following in what is sure to be the fashion for dozens of former skinny white boy ex-boy banders to come, Jesse McCartney recently revealed who his new career idol is. Yes, of course it’s Justin Timberlake. Jesse has said that he hopes to do what Justin has done with his career. What, starring in terrible movies and dating a duck-billed platypus for years before he finally got smart and dumped her? Still, we can’t hate on Jesse for liking the Tim – we thought his last album was boss too. Here is the heir to the throne this week, stopping by the National Hockey League store on Avenue of Americas before visiting backstage at Z100′s Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. Oh yeah. There’s nothing more R&B than hockey equipment.

Former teenybopper heart throb Jesse McCartney has worked hard at shedding his squeaky clean acoustic image, and we’d say it has been working. Jesse has instead expressed a sincere desire to get serious about his music, and we certainly wish him well with that – he’s got the talent, so we just hope he can reconcile his (former) image with his new sound. Jesse was looking quite dapper when we saw him arrive at Coco De Ville Nightclub last night in West Hollywood.

Jesse Gets Down

Jesse McCartney headed to Coco De Ville nightclub in Hollywood. He arrived at the club with a friend and he seemed pretty eager to get up in there. He probably wants to see if any of this hits from his recent album Departure were being spinned in the club. Sorry, Jesse. No.

I Think Jesse Loves You

Katie Cassidy, daughter of David has been dating her on-again, off-again poppy beau Jesse McCartney for a couple years now. Looks like they were on again here at Katsuya restaurant in Hollywood last night. The two weren’t looking very affectionate though as they left the restaurant and hopped into a car. Have you heard Jesse’s newest stuff? It’s a real departure from his pop roots, and we actually dug it. You can check it out on his MySpace.

All Grown Up And Off To Hyde

Jesse McCartney was out on the town the other evening and he wound up at Hyde. Check out the lining in his dress jacket. Looks like he is all grown up these days.

Hey, we love Koi! One of our favorite haunts for excellent food and celebrity watching. We used to dine there when it was Victor Drai’s. Talk about good provenance. One of our snappers nailed Jesse McCartney the other night wearing these bright red shoes. Very well color coordinated with the watch band. Our paparazzo said that Jesse is “the nicest guy in show biz”. We agree and hope that we can sell this photo!

19 year old Jesse McCartney was at Hollywood hot spot, Teddy’s last night. Guess he had a glass of milk and maybe some cookies. He needs to wake up early and see the dermatologist.
