Bring your camera everywhere and turn off your flash!

Last night we were invited to the opening of Art Rebel in Sherman Oaks. We got our visa and road maps and set out for the trip over the hill. It actually was not that far and it turned out to be at a charming location right behind Handy J’s Car Wash and A Touch Of Romance flower shop.

Inside this converted garage was a really cool scene of artists, models, actors and party crashers. Just what we crave for nightly. Right in the middle of it was was screen legend Harry Dean Stanton. We used our Canon G7 to make this foto with a one second exposure. Look how it soaks up all of the ambient light. Check out the old landmark Cassa de Cadillac in the background.

We are going to post the rest of the Art Rebel fotos a bit later today. Now we are off to The Hammer to see Frank Gehry. Should be cool.
