Eva Mendes was looking lovely in a white coat when we saw her waving goodbye to her beloved Hollywood Hills. The Hitch starlet departed from the Los Angeles International Airport after the Oscar awards. Eva wasn’t up for anything this year, but we have the feeling that she will be someday. She has too much natural charm and charisma to ignore. All she needs is the right part!

Eva Mendes looked lovely at the Spirit Premiere a few days ago in Hollywood. But it looks as if there might have been some disappointment behind that smile.

Eva, who is huge supporter of Obama, is reportedly not happy that she wasnâ€™t invited to the President Electâ€™s swearing in ceremony in January.

“Hottest ticket party in town … I thought I had some pull – I usually do, and I’ve been shut down. It’s the hardest party to get into,” she told ‘Access Hollywood’.
“We are still working on it, but I understand the whole thing. They don’t want to make [it] a celebrity studded event because I understand this in an extremely crucial time in our history and in our world right now. And I understand not wanting to make [it] a star-studded event; I completely understand that. But of course, I would love to go and be there,” she added.

Nope, she plopped right down inside of a bar while shooting her new movie Last Night at 19th Street and 7th Avenue in New York City, New York. Eva was wearing her hair up and wearing diamond stud earrings. Eva left the bar looking tired but pleasant enough.

We caught the usually-shy Eva Mendes in our lens yesterday, as she left a West Hollywood gym after a workout. Eva was a bit shy to be seen in her workout clothes so the second that she realized that there was a photographer present, she quickly turned around. She went back inside the gym to change and do her hair, thereby not allowing the photographer to get a shot of her looking sweaty from her workout. Eva came out wearing a beautiful blue dress and can be seen carrying a purse and a bag. Eva’s recent advertisement for PETA, where she posed naked, was banned in the USA for being to risque. Thanks for dressing up for us, Eva!

Eva Mendes did some smart shopping yesterday at Barneys New York and another small set of stores in Beverly Hills. As Eva finished up her shopping and headed to her car, she noticed that photographers were around, and was about to try her best to avoid any fotos. But then she thought about it. “If I let them take a few fotos now, that’ll be it, and I can continue to shop alone!” Finally. A celeb that gets how it works.

Eva Mendes knows better. Usually, for events, she chooses dresses by foward thinking designers such as Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein (a favorite of hers and ours) or Michael Kors. We love Dior (who doesn’t, really), but we are scratching our heads at this selection that Eva made for the Cartier Loveday Celebration. The velvet Dior dress looks like Eva ripped some knock-off Versaille curtains from some family’s windows. Even worse, the sack like shape of the dress makes her look like she might be attending the autumn formal down at the retirement home. Get her a walker please!

We caught recently rehab’d Eva Mendes departing her Upper East Side hotel yesterday in New York City. The actress was there to lend her support to the “Linked Against Leukemia Gala” to Benefit DKMS by appearing at Capitale on the Bowery. The black-tie affair is an annual benefit to raise money and awareness for DKMS, the world’s largest marrow donor center with more than 1.6 million registered donors, which has helped facilitate more than 13,000 transplants. We think that’s great, Eva, and we love her dress too. Did you see her racy layout in the Italian Vogue this month? Eva appeared topless in a set of very beautiful photographs.

Eva Feels Better Now

Wow! Rehab seems to have done Eva Mendes a world of good! Usually she is very shy to pose for a few fotos but last night Eva was all about it. We saw her and boyfriend George Gargurevich after having dinner at Madeo’s Restaurant last night in Beverly Hills, California. Eva even signed a couple autographs for fans in addition to posing for the cameras. Eva looks very happy and healthy in these fotos. Our only fashion quibble is the brown bag with a black outfit – we know some peeps are breaking this cardinal rule of fashion more and more these days, but call us boring because we are not a fan. In either case, we wish Eva good luck on her continues recovery.

There are so many parties each night in L.A. and New York. You really never have to buy a meal in your life if you are on the A list. The best food and drink is always on hand at these events. You just need to be In Crowd to be invited.

Last night was no exception with a tremendous party at Budha Bar on Little West 12th Street in New York’s trendy Meat Packing District. The event was for Gotham Magazine who was honoring our dream girl, Eva Mendes. Hope she comes back to L.A. real soon.
