An American Legend

Ethel Kennedy has always been a lovely and classy gal. Her she is in these EXCLUSIVE fotos as she arrived for the screening of ‘Robert Kennedy Remembered’ at the Starz Room on the Auraria College Campus in Denver, Colorado. The 1968 short documentary was filmed by Charles Guggenheim and won an Academy Award in 1969 for ‘Best Short Subject’. Ethel Kennedy is the widow of the late Senator and Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy and has been a big supporter of Barack Obama. She is quoted as saying:
“Barack is so like Bobby…With courage, caring, and charisma, Senator Obama is leading us toward a kinder, gentler world.”

Yes We Can

Presumptive presidential nominee Barack Obama has pulled a lot of comparisons to Bobby Kennedy. One person who agrees is Ethel Kennedy, Bobby’s widow. Ethel was in East Hampton accompanied by her youngest daughter filmmaker Rory Kennedy (and Bobby lookalike) a few days ago. Our Hamptons photographer Iris Zimmerman snapped this shot of Ethel with her friend Harry Belafonte, the acclaimed singer and social activist. The two old friends chatted at a private house in the Hamptons, where a gathering was held in honor of the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial.
