There was a rare sighting of Yoko Ono last night at Mr Chow’s. She is rarely in Los Angeles and she was accompanied by press agent Elliot Mintz. The duo go back for decades when Elliot was doing press for Yoko’s band Elephants Memory.
We are not sure why, but press-guru Elliot Mintz was hanging outside of Foxtails nightclub in West Hollywood a few nights ago. He was hanging around with friend Mark Vincent Kaplan while there, but the two stood out like sore thumbs. We know that we always criticize those who dress to casually for a night out at the clubs and a night out dancing, but this is taking it a step too far. Suits don’t really cut it on the dancefloor. We are going to assume that they were waiting outside of the club to help a client with the press after they left for the night. That’s our story… and we’re sticking to it.

Nicky Hilton evokes the film goddesses of the 1920s while Elliot Mintz evokes the razzle dazzle of the 1960s. It’s so wonderful to see them in this day and age. They are the epitome of gloss, glitz and glamour.

Elliot Mintz is a famed publicist who has worked with John and Yoko and David Cassidy just to name a few. He also had a wonderful talk radio show back in the seventies. Here is is last night looking a bit like Paris Hilton’s personal valet. Someone once said… ” a photo is worth a thousand words”.
