Oscar-winning actor Dustin Hoffman enjoyed a nice dinner with his wife at Nobu in Malibu. Dustin and his wife seemed amused by the presence of the camera instead of annoyed; they smiled from the exit of the restaurant until they reached their car. Dustin just released Kung Fu Panda, and is a voice in the animated feature The Tale of Despereaux, set to be released later this year. Why do actors, after winning a lot of awards and completing challenging and complex films, retreat to just doing voice work in animated features?

Finding that his wife did not want to pose for the paparazzi, Dustin Hoffman enlisted a poor, unsuspecting bystander to play his mate. Dustin was in a happy mood yesterday in Beverly Hills, as he waited for his car to come from the valet. His wife, Lisa Gottsegen, was feeling a little shy today, but maybe she won’t be on another day. Coming up for Dustin is Last Chance Harvey, a romantic dramady opposite Emma Thompson. Since we like both Dustin and Emma, we’ll be sure not to miss it. In the meantime, we think these fotos are hilarious. Does that woman know that she’s having her 15 minutes?
