Hungry Like the Wolf
Mark Ronson and his sister Samantha aren’t just oceans apart physically, but it seems like the company they keep is that different too. While Sam prefers LiLo and the L.A. club scene, we saw Mark performing with Duran Duran in Paris! We’re happy that sexy Mark seems to have an appreciation for 80′s pop as well as his preferred 60′s swing. Mark and Duran Duran performed a special live show together at the Cigale as part of the Smirnoff Experience in Paris, France. We love Mark’s dapper outfit – he always looks fab.

Look how skinny Simon Le Bon is in this vintage photograph!
This photo was done almost 30 years ago at the Hyatt House on the Sunset Strip. That was the place where all of the British rockers wanted to stay and for a good reason. It was cool, hip and had 24 hour incredibly beautiful groupies in the lobby of the hotel. Not too sure if there even are groupies today. Duran Duran were there for their first concert in the USA to be held at The Roxy on The Strip. Hardly anyone had a clue who they were, but we knew that the market for their photos in Japan was enormous. Funny thing was that John Taylor knew who we were from all of our photo credits in Music Life Magazine. Bless his heart. We took the photos on the roof of the hotel and then piled them into our car for a tour of the town. Today, if you tried to do a photo shoot with a hot pop group like Jonas Brothers of Miley, you would have paparazzi hanging out of helicopters. Incredible what what can happen in thiry years!

26 Years Earlier
We just dug out this photograph of Simon Le Bon from the Buzz Foto archives. It was taken in 1981 at rooftop pool at the Hyatt House on Sunset Blvd. Boy, the years sure fly by when you are having fun!
