Celebrity Lifestyles: Christina Aguilera’s Osbourne Home

It looks like living in the home of the Prince of Darkness might be rubbing off on Christina Aguilera and her husband. Jordan Bratman has allegedly been shopping for some ‘interesting’ decor for the home that was formerly owned by Ozzy Osbourne and his family. The now current home of Christina Aguilera in Beverly Hills, California was purchased for $11.5 million in 2007.

“Visitors at Christina Aguilera’s new Beverly Hills pad are in for some ’shocking’ surprise, as the singer is allegedly planning to decorate her house with hubby Jordan Bratman’s choice of art. The record label executive was spotted checking out shock artist Cleon Peterson’s latest show at the New Image Art gallery in West Hollywood on Monday.

And it is believed that Bratman might just use one or two pieces, showing images of rape, mugging and brutality, to furnish the house they bought from The Osbournes. “It was clear he was there to check out Peterson’s The Occupation exhibition, which opened last week (ends23Jan09),” Contactmusic quoted one gallery regular who witnessed Bratman’s art interest.

He said: “The artist’s pieces look colourful and interesting from a distance, and closer inspection shows scenes of street violence. It’s quite disturbing. “He left the gallery without buying anything, but you could tell he was very interested. Maybe Christina will have to OK his strange choice in art before he buys.”

Huh. Maybe living at Ozzy’s house has it’s influences.
The singer told several sources the reason for the purchase and the move was largely in part to “The Osbournes” on TV. Christina was apparently such a big fan of the series, that just watching it convinced her she had to have it.

“I used to look at the kitchen on that show, and they could hang out in that little sitting area. It looked really cozy.” She told a source.
“It’s really perfect… We’re still a young couple, and we want to entertain and be able to have those times, so it’s a great house for all that.”
Christina also shared how she is turning Jack Osbourne’s old room into her own personal beauty parlor.

“That’s going to be my humongo (corr) dream closet and hair and beauty salon.”

The Bratman Bunch

Christina Aguilera and her hubby Jordan Bratman took their adorable little son Max Liron Bratman for a family shopping trip at Fred Segal Clothing Boutique in West Hollywood, California today. Christina Aguilera carried her son Max while Jordan carried the bags full of purchases. Christina looked stunning with her gray sweater and black leggings. She also matched her nail polish with her shoes. She wore gold round earrings and a black fedora hat. Little Max also wore a fedora hat and looked adorable. Jordan almost disappeared in her presence by wearing his typical look. Step it up Jordan! When you have a family as beautiful as yours, you’ve gotta bring your ‘A Game.’

Xtina has a Helpful Hubby

Christina Aguilera and her hubby Jordan Bratman took their son Max out for a spot of shopping at Barney’s New York Clothing Boutique a few days ago in Beverly Hills, California. Christina held Max, who looked a little startled as they walked out of the clothing boutique. Daddy Jordan was in charge of folding the stroller and carrying it to the car while mommy vamped for the cameras. They made a few purchases which their security detail was kind enough to carry to their car.

Christina Stays Fresh

Here’s a couple more shots of Christina Aguilera from her master shopping expedition a few days ago at Barney’s New York Clothing Boutique in Beverly Hills, California. If you’ll remember, the dirrty girl shopped for about three hours. But she was looking totally chipper and bright when she left and gave us a big wave. Must have been the coffee.
