Soundgarden is on a Slide

Soundgarden rocker Chris Cornell showed us his softer side a few days ago. Chris and his wife Vicky Karayiannis played with their two children at a local park, looking very happy while doing so in Los Angeles, California. The family played on the swings and took several turns down the slide. Wow, even Chris took a slide or two. It’s great to see Gen X icons enjoying their little ones!

The Face of Gen X is Wrinkled

Generation X has finally grown up – just in time for plaid and flannel to make a comeback this season, geez. Here’s one of the poster boys for the movement – former Soundgarden frontmaChris Cornell. We saw Chris with his fam yesterday at LAX. The Audioslave’ singer was accompanied by his wife, Vicky Karayiannis, and his adorable daughter Lillian. His signature goatee looked a bit overgrown with a full moustache. Chris was very gentle with his daughter and he held her hand as they waited for their baggage.

We love children, so of course we love being lucky enough to catch children playing with thier parents. Chris Cornell, lead singer of Soundgarden, took his daughter Toni and his son Chris to play at a park in Beverly Hills late yesterday. The trio looked like they had a blast playing in the sand and swinging on the swings. Chris appeared to take real joy in pushing his little ones and watching them have fun. Chris eventually took his own turn on the swing, leaving his flip-flops in the sands and swinging back and forth like a five-year-old. Looks like fun – can we join in?
