We just came across a vintage print of this classic Cher photo taken at a Jesse Winchester sponsored by Warner Bros Records in 1978. We were probably hired by the record company to take the photos. We were always hired by the PR or the record company back in those days. This was when Cher had just broke up with Greg Allman and everyone wanted to see who she would be dating next. The photo wound up in the back pages of People mag and we collected a grand fifty bucks for the shot. What made People mag run this photo? The bottle of beer of course!
Cher was feeling a bit shy yesterday when we saw her in Beverly Hills. She covered her face and also ran when she spotted a gaggle of paps waiting for her to come out of the Medical Buildings on the trendy Bedford Blvd. A male companion helped her get into her car. No need to run, Cher. It’s nothing bad to get a little work done.

Cher must think it’s the 80s again and that she’s back in her 30s. Guess what? She isn’t. Cher came out of Foxtail Lounge in West Hollywood last night looking exhausted. We’re sure she had a great time (come on, Cher is still Cher, even at 62) but we think that these little nightclubs and parties are for the young folks that have nothing better to do with their evenings. Cher is a dignified artist. Why not throw a fab dinner party instead? It would definitely hurt less in the morning…
