With reports that Britney Spears could be moving to Calabasas, California, her current six bedroom seven bathroom home in Beverly Hills has just been reduced to an asking price of $7.195 million! In the past, neighbors have complained about the craziness surrounding their neighborhood due to the famous resident, including the swarms of paparazzi, the ambulances, the late night car chases, helicopters and more. Now those is Calabasas might have to worry.

Britney, who was surrounded by a huge crowd of photographers, covered her head with a white towel to protect her face from the flashing bulbs. Her father Jamie Spears accompanied her as they headed home from an American Airlines Flight from New York. Jamie Spears has assumed control of Britney and her finances through the end of the year due to Britney’s troubled past. Jamie was close by and protective of his daughter as they got into their car.

The girl everyone is rooting for, our friend Britney Spears, had an unique shopping experience at Paige Clothing Boutique along the trendy Robertson Blvd in Beverly Hills, California.
Out of no where some big, beefy security dude representing a Police Body Guard company flipped out a pepper spray pen and gave it to Britney. It took her off guard and she was a little shocked and unnerved. Poor Britney! The bold move by the security-guard-for-hire should make Sheriff Lee Baca of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department happy that celebrities such as Britney are considering not using taxpayer dollars, but instead are looking for alternative means of finding their own security. We wonder if there is an easier (and not so strange) way of advertising for yourself, than sticking a weapon in a starletÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s face!

We still can not get over this amazing photograph that newbie paparazzo Buddy Dolphin did yesterday of Britney Spears as she arrived at LAX. Less than one week in the business and he scored a real winner.

We are holding our breath to see the Sunday New York Post and Sunday News tomorrow morning. More importantly we will be checking The News Of the World, Sunday Mirror, Sunday Express, Mail On Sunday and our favorite the Sunday Sport! These are all incredibly important publications for your fotos.

The quick fast sale of this set of photographs is wonderful , but the real potential is for archive sales. If you are going to attempt to go through retirement these days, you need to have a strong Roth or IRA account . Better yet, a good paparazzi photo archive.

Many of these photos can continue to sell over and over again for years. We would not advise any paparazzo to sell their soul and their archive to anyone. All it does is make the agency you work for stronger and stronger and you at the end of the day pal, have nothing to show for your blood sweat and tears.

Britney Meltdown At LAX

It was totally nuts today at LAX when Britney returned home today. There must have been a dog pack of about 50 paparazzi and all in a feeding frenzy.

It has been reported that one of the paparazzi got into a clash with her security and they were both handcuffed. Britney saw all of this going down and as you can see in this incredible iconic photograph, she just lost it!

This is just the kind of foto that screens at you! It has drama and tells a story. We expect to see this photograph on the covers of all of the Sunday British newspapers and the Daily News and The Post in New York.

Not only is it a hot photograph for the Sunday papers and the weekly magazines, but most importantly it is an amazing archive foto that will continue to sell over and over again.

What! You do not own your own archive! Such a same to work so hard and have nothing to show for it at the end of the day. Remember, your archive is just like your retirement account. If you sell out, it is like selling your soul.

As for Buddy, the photographer who took this beautiful iconic photograph, we are so proud of you. Less than one week on the job and you are up for a possible cover on the News Of The World! You are the best pal.

Britney Spears fell into our lap last night so we took her foto.

Our Buzz Foto rule is that we do not chase, follow or pursue Britney Spears. Just too dangerous and at the end of the day with with all of the competition and relatively little controversy in her life, the photos are not worth that much. There are way too many Britney fotos on the market and the story about Britney peaked months ago.

What we find really interesting is that she has very little eye contact or interaction with the paparazzi these days. Probably a wise move on her part.

So Britney fell into Picasso’s lap last night at Il Sole and we are working and prodding the photos around the world. Another wonderful day in this glorious business.

Papa Spears Loosens Britney’s Purse Strings

Having her father’s help and assistance recently has visibly done a lot for Britney Spears – she looks healthier than she ever has since her pregnancies and divorce, and she seems considerably less confrontational towards the press. Papa Spears let Britney have a little fun with the credit cards yesterday as she went on a complete shopping spree at Paige Clothing Boutique on Robertson Boulevard in West Hollywood. As we know, Britney has been confined to the common stores like Forever 21 and Claire’s at the common-man’s mall, so when she was given the chance to snag some high-end merchandise… forget carpe diem – she grabbed the day and squeezed it within an inch of its life and came out of the store carrying more bags that she could physically handle. She had to get police escorts to help her with her bags and to help her to her car, which was surrounded by a mod of photographers and press staff trying to get a glimpse of the star enjoying her time out.

Britney Is On The Bottom

Britney Spears though she had a great tactic for avoiding the paparazzi yesterday. As she was shopping in the Tracey Ross clothing boutique on Sunset Plaza in West Hollywood, she spotted the gang of photographers that was getting larger and larger as she was about to make her exit. She decided to get a police escort as she left the place, and once she got in her car, her bodyguard basically climbed on top of her (nearly squeezing the life out of her) to “protect” her from the cameras. Note to other camera-shy celebs: having your body guard sit on your lap will never turn their attention elsewhere. It only makes you more attractive to the camera’s lens. And it also make you look a little loopy.

Buzz Foto’s Take On The Proposed Britney Law

We all read in the press about how certain celebrities are not amused with the tactics of some paparazzi. Now the City of Los Angeles is trying to get a law passed that will place a 20 yard bubble around celebrities when they are out in public.

In our opinion the law will not work and can not be enforced. What will happen when you have a “real” news story and you have media outlets like the Los Angeles Times, NY Daily News or CNN needing to get access to the celebrity for a quote or photo of the day?

Celebrities are treated like royalty and there will be days when it can get uncomfortable for them. They all knew upfront that is was part of the business. Remember the line in Godfather II where Hyman Roth spits out to Michael that “This is the business we have chosen”? Well this is the business that they have chosen and in our opinion they are delighted to use the media when they are breaking into the industry, but once they have made it, they want to be able to have the privilege now to be able to turn it off at their command. The media is not a faucet.

In our opinion things have gotten out of control due to the sheer numbers of paparazzi out there today. In our opinion, some have also gone way overboard. We at Buzz Foto like our photos to reflect “Life Imitating Art” and that cannot be achieved in the middle of a dog pack of paparazzi.

In our opinion there needs to be a code of ethics in our industry. Scenes of paparazzi following Britney Spears going to a rest room in a gas station border on harassment. Reports of one paparazzo beating up another for a photograph is horrifying.

In our opinion proposed Britney Law will never fly, but the City Of Los Angeles should be concerned that California laws are not being broken. That should include that the paparazzi are here working legally in the USA, they have a valid California drivers license, auto insurance and that there is no visual trespass.

The Britney Recession?

Everyone in the industry knows that we never believed in daily coverage of Britney Spears. It was just too dangerous and not worth the grief. If she fell in our lap, sure we would take the foto, but she was never a daily affair for us. Now it looks like that Britney Spears is no longer the number one target of the paparazzi. According to our sources, the Grand Dame of paparazzi coverage appeared to only have a half a dozen paparazzi covering her movements the last few days. In her golden days, she would have a train or close to fifty paparazzi covering her night and day.

All of the action is now on Miley Cyrus and this weekend she had close to thirty paparazzi on her tail covering her every move, including attending Easter Sunday services at her local Church. Can Miley affect the bottom line of the media, the paparazzi and the photo agencies? Unlikely. There will never be another Britney – she was larger than Elvis. Miley is sweet, but she will never top Britney in foto sales. Why? You need to have major daily controversy with a star to help move fotos. Controversy and Britney always went hand in hand.

Britney Spears is either shopping on a budget now since her father took control of her estate, or she was really in the mood for some cheap accessories. El chaparro HGV snapped away at Britney as she shopped at Forever 21, Claire’s, and some other stores in the Beverly Hills Mall yesterday. I’m sure the other shoppers were staring closely at Britney (and her Balenciaga bag) and confused as to why she was in these low-budget stores. How would you respond if Britney stood next you as you browsed through the Buy-one-get-one-free earrings?

Will Britney Be Plotting Against Us?

Britney Spears was out shopping a few days ago at Off Broadway Shoes in West Hollywood for, oddly enough, a pair of boots! She was already wearing a pair, in the warm California weather, in addition to a feminine white halter dress (or is that a top?) tied within an inch of its life around her neck. While there were many paparazzi ready to get a picture, she seemed relatively calm around them. Has she been listen to Cher?!

“The ‘Believe’ singer advised the troubled star to escape unwanted attention from photographers by planting a car bomb, as she was pursued by snappers herself.”

“When asked if she had a message for Britney, Cher said: ‘Yeah, she should blow you guys up with a car bomb!’”

We hope Britney doesn’t take her advice anytime soon, but if she stays this calm around the press all the time, we’ll have to pull out our bomb-proof gear. Watch out for flying parts!

We were hanging out in Beverly Hills yesterday when Britney stopped by Monique Lhuillier’s boutique for a wedding dress. Post Paparazzi Detox

This is one of the first fotos of Britney Spears after she left the UCLA Medical Center and arrived at The Beverly Hills Hotel today. The scene at the hotel was disgusting with paparazzi crashing right into the lobby of the private property. There are boundaries in every business and this includes the paparazzi industry. This is why our biz gets such a bad rap.

Back to Britney. We do not make a point of covering this woman. It is just too dangerous and she should be left alone. We were hopping that she would have stayed in the psychiatric ward for the full two weeks and that she would come out and say to the paparazzi ” I am sorry, but I do not want my photograph taken”. That would make all of us happy and we could just go on with our lives and business.

We do not make it our business to follow Britney around town. If she falls into our lap like last night at Goa, our paparazzi will take a photo. That is about it. You can not make an iconic photograph in an environment of madness.
