With just a glance you can tell that this photograph was taken in 1978. Here is our friend and celebrity Bebe Buell sucking on the tongue of Dead Boys member Stiv Bators at a Blondie party at Fiorucci’s in Beverly Hills. Now thirty years later the Fiorucci’s store is a bank, Stiv is resting in rock and roll heaven, Bebe is the mother of Liv Tyler and the Buzz Foto iconnic archives continue to grow. Stiv maybe gone, but that tongue will live on forever!
For those of you who did not know, this is Liv Tyler’s mom Bebe Buell with her then boyfriend, Dead Boys singer Stiv Bators of the Dead Boys. This photograph was taken in 1978 at a party for Blondie at Firoucci in Beverly Hills. Bebe and Stiv were pals of ours they were always in the direction of our lens.
We just dusted this one off from the archives. Yep, that is Liv Tyler’s mom, Bebe Buell with Stiv Bators from The Dead Boys. We have not seen Bebe in years and Stiv sadly passed away decades ago. We have truly fond memories hanging out with Stiv and Rodney in Paris years ago.
We initially met Bebe though our best friend and mentor Richard Creamer. Richard was a brilliant photographer and truly a one of a kind human being.

Brad Elterman took this absolutely wonderful and playful photo in another Hollywood golden year — 1978. Bebe Buell was married to rock star Todd Rundgren and she was also Rod Stewart’s girlfriend. As well, she was a Playboy centerfold and model. She is also the mother of actress Liv Tyler. Liv’s father is of course Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. So as you can see, Bebe loved rock stars. Here she is with her then boyfriend, Stiv Bators who was the lead singer of The Dead Boys. Brad was with Stiv in Paris a few weeks before he was hit by a car and died. Tinseltown lost a true talent that day but Heaven gained a rock star.
