Austin Visschedyk is just one of the many teenage paparazzos that are beginning to crop up around this city, but if you ask us he is the first and still the best. We snapped this foto of Austin a couple months ago when he attended the Ace Gallery opening for artist David Amico.

The stars love Austin too – they are often amused by him and like to chat with him about how he got into the biz so young. Paris Hilton in particualr is known to be a fan of Austin’s. But here you can see Phoebe Price giving Austin a big old hug back in March. Notice how Austin is careful not to get his popsicle on Phoebe. A gentleman never smears his snack on a lady, even if he is only 14.
We ran into our pal and teenage paparazzo Austin Visschedyk last night at the Ace Gallery reception for David Amico. We had not seen Austin in ages and we hardly recognized him. He is all grown up and looking very stylish these days.
Austin and his entire family are patrons of the arts and that is what caught our eye initially when we met him and his parents last summer.
Last night, we chatted about the industry and his plans for the future. Although, we do not work together, but we are good friends and Austin knows that he can call us anytime for advise.
We have to keep reminding him that we were the original teenage paparazzo in this town. He is the second.

Hey check out the Teenage Paparazzi, fourteen year old Austin Visschedyk and fifteen year old Blaine Jones of West Hollywood. These kids rock and they mean business too. Austin and Blaine want to become millionaires from the Pap business before they are twenty. You will see them out and around town on their cool scooters hanging on to their long Nikon cameras and super long lenses. The kids are ready for anything. They carry cell phones, top of the line equipment, pepper spray and condoms ( just in case ). Austin is the leader of the pack. “If I go down, then Blaine is number one”, remarks Austin. Already the teen paps have photographed Adam Sandler, Kelly Clarkson and Ryan Seacrest, but they have their sights set on tracking down Jessica Simpson. ” She is the person who I want to Paparazzi” boasts Austin. Come on Jess, toss the kids a bone!
