Here’s a lovely sight to behold! Amy Adams, Meryl Streep and Viola Davis as they arrived at The 81st Annual Oscar Awards in Hollywood, California last night!

There has been a swirl of Oscar talk around Amy Adams for her role in Doubt, but we’ve got to admit that we’ll be pissed if she wins a statue before Kate Winslet does. No matter. The likable Junebug starlet exited Barney’s of New York in Los Angeles, California. Amy was accompanied by her fiance Darren Le Gallo, as the two did a little shopping. The two are rumored to be planning a 2009 wedding.
Actress Amy Adams arrives to promote her latest movie “Doubt” on The Late Show with David Letterman in New York City, New York . Amy trades in her princess gown for a holier garb as she plays a nun who confronts a priest after suspecting him abusing a black student. Set in 1964, the priest denies the charges, and much of movie’s quick-fire dialogue tackles themes of religion, morality. Do you think Amy has the acting chops for such a dramatic film? We do!

Director Adand Tucker made a recent announcement that he is in talks to direct Amy Adams in Leap Year. Leap Year is supposedly a romantic comedy about a spirited redheaded woman who arrives in Dublin on February 29 with the intentions of proposing to her boyfriend. According to Irish tradition, a man who is proposed to on the 29th of February has to say yes! It’s leap year of course! Sounds like a fun story.
You tell us your prediction, do you think the movie will be a hit?
Amy Adams is pictured here as she left the 18th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York City, New York.
