Brad Elterman
Brad Elterman sold his first photograph at the age of 16 in 1974, and went on to photograph celebrities ranging from the Sex Pistols and Leif Garrett to Bob Dylan and Jackie Onassis. In 1977, he made his first trip to Europe, developing a network of editors and subagents, some of which are still in place today. In 1980, Brad formed one of the first West Coast photo agencies, California Features International, which covered entertainment events in Hollywood for the foreign and domestic markets. In 1985, he authored “Shoot the Stars: How to Become a Celebrity Photographer,” which lead to an appearance on “Oprah.†In 1992, Brad co-formed one of the first digital photo agencies, Online USA, also specializing in entertainment photo syndication. Online USA was sold to Getty Images in 2001. In early 2006, Brad started Buzz Foto, LLC, a photo agency that produces and syndicates exclusively iconic paparazzi photographs. Brad currently has seventies photographs on display at Gallerie Thoma in Basel and at the Next Model Management office in Beverly Hills.
