Brad Elterman sold his first photograph at
the age of 16 in 1974, and went on to photograph celebrities ranging
from the Sex Pistols and Leif Garrett to Bob Dylan and Jackie Onassis.
In 1977, he made his first trip to Europe, developing a network of
editors and subagents, some of which are still in place today. In
1980, Brad formed one of the first West Coast photo agencies, California
Features International, which covered entertainment events in Hollywood
for the foreign and domestic markets. In 1985, he authored "Shoot
the Stars: How to Become a Celebrity Photographer," which lead
to an appearance on “Oprah.” In 1992, Brad co-formed one
of the first digital photo agencies, Online USA, also specializing
in entertainment photo syndication. Online USA was sold to Getty Images
in 2001. In early 2006, Brad started Buzz Foto, LLC, a photo agency
that produces and syndicates exclusively iconic paparazzi photographs.
Brad currently has seventies photographs on display at Gallerie Thoma
in Basel and at the Next Model Management office in Beverly Hills. |
