Rebecca Black’s “Friday” Disappears From YouTube

Gawker.com reports:
The removal was presaged by a brief vanishing act on Monday, but now it appears that Rebecca Black filed a copyright claim with YouTube and it’s likely the real deal. This would make sense, as Black and Ark Music Factory, the proto-music label that produced the song, have been battling over rights to “Friday.” Now that Friday’s gone, how do you feel about making fun of it, internet? Bet you kind of miss it!

La Toya Jackson to Release a Michael Jackson Memoir
USA Today reports:
Starting Over is set for release on June 21, and in the book, La Toya talks about her brother’s state of mind before he died on June 25, 2009.
In the book, she says she wondered, “Who killed Michael?” when she first learned of his sudden death. She claims that her brother had long been paranoid about someone killing him for money and control of his estate.
La Toya also writes that Michael’s daughter Paris told her that he cried a lot before he died and “was always cold.” La Toya goes on to say that after Michael died, she found a note in his bedroom that he had written to their father Joe Jackson, asking him to get “these people out of my life.”

The O’Neals Reconile After 5 years
The NY Daily News reports:
The two had fallen out originally when Ryan left the family in 1979 to be with the late Farrah Fawcett. Without communication, Ryan said they ultimately “drifted away from each other, unhappily of course.”
In the years to come, both would experience separate low points.
Among other issues, Ryan battled leukemia in 2001 and was arrested in 2007 after allegedly fighting with Tatum’s brother Griffin, though he was never prosecuted.
Tatum struggled with drugs, most recently being arrested in 2008 for allegedly buying crack cocaine. She later pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.
“I feel like I’ve come from hell and back,” the actress said of her addiction issues. “Now I’m just trying to live with as much love in my life as possible.”
Following Fawcett’s death in 2009, Tatum said she felt a reconciliation attempt was necessary.
“That was the last thing to help to soften my resolve and help make a relationship work and help build the bond back,” she explained. “And that was before the show was even a possibility.”
Since filming the documentary series, Tatum said she feels like she has a parent again. Her mom Joanna Cook Moore, O’Neal’s former wife, died of cancer in 1997.
