Kelly Slater Surfin’ Up Brazil
The Ten-time ASP world champion Kelly Slater took the highest score in the ASP Billabong Rio Pro on Tuesday at Arpoador Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Slater, who posted a 9.00 midway through his round and finished with a 15.17, was cutting it close.
“That 9 felt good,” Slater said in a statement. “I went down to grab my jersey and there was some confusion. By the time I got out, the heat had already started and Julian got that first one. It wasn’t a good start. I knew there were going to be some good ones, and I just had to be patient. That one good wave actually let me bottom turn and hit the lip, most of the waves were soft and had a lot of horizontals.”

Annalynne Mccord Leaving 90210
According to Digital Spy:
The series, which ended its third season last night, will change focus from high school to college for the new season, giving new showrunners Patti Carr and Lara Olsen the opportunity to make some major changes.
“That’s something we’ve been told,” McCord revealed to EW. “I think their reasoning for thinking they might slim down the cast is because it might be too much going [on] with having people in different places.”
The actress said that although she herself has been unofficially reassured that her position on the series is safe, she is still concerned about which of her cast mates may get the axe.
“Obviously we’re all like a family now, that’s the part that sucks,” she added. “You’re wondering which one of your sisters or brothers might not be there.”

America’s “Saddest Man” Eats 25,000th Big Mac Today

Um…. Congrats????
Via Gawker.com:
Congratulations are in order for Don Gorske, 57, America’s saddest man, who earned his very own story in his hometown Fond du Lac (Wis.) Reporter yesterday, on the eve of his consumption of his 25,000th Big Mac sandwich.
What did we learn about Don?
Don Gorske ate his first Big Mac on May 17, 1972, at the McDonald’s on Military Avenue in Fond du Lac. Today, he’ll eat his 25,000th Big Mac right there at the same location. “A person like me, I just don’t change too much,” Don said.
“It’s pretty much two Big Macs a day. When I can travel to sporting events, I like to take my Big Mac along,” he added.
“Tuesday also will be Gorske’s retirement party. He has spent 25 years as a scheduling officer at Waupun Correctional Institution.”
Don ate his 10,000th Big Mac in 1990. A tornado hit his house that year.
He sure is looking forward to eating that 25,000th Big Mac today. Although he won’t necessarily be able to taste it; “since birth his taste buds have fluctuated in sensitivity, possibly worsening when he worked inside tanks at a factory.”
“The need to keep track of his Big Mac consumption is part of the obsessive-compulsive disorder he has dealt with since childhood.”
