Kathy Griffin Plans to Keep Using Palin Family For Comedy
“They Palins are always supplying material and I’ve got my eye on all of them of course, and so the great thing is that they consistently deliver,” Griffin told FOX411’s Pop Tarts column at the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Style issue party. “Every time they open their mouths, Sarah in particular, she usually says something that most comedians can take from, if you know what I’m saying. I don’t think she’s going to stop anytime soon, luckily for me.”
Griffin has mad headlines before for criticizing Bristol Palin’s weight on “Dancing With the Stars” as well as Willow Palin.
Griffin has no regrets.
“I only made fun of Willow, who’s 16, who called someone the f-word, and not the four lettered fun f-word, but the gay pejorative,” Griffin said, referring to the controversy pertaining to a reported row between Willow and a class mate on Facebook last year. “So with all my work in the LGBT community, I think by 16 years old, you know not to use that word and you know that it can be a game-changer for people, for young people in particular. So when people say I went for her kid, I went for her 16-year-old who used a word that I think maybe would have an adverse effect on a gay teen living in Wasilla, Alaska which I have visited. But I will make fun of everybody and everything!”
On that note, Griffin also said the Palin taunts have all been in the name of humor and she personally has nothing against the high-profile political family.
“It’s all in joking, absolutely. It’s all in fun,” she said. “ I have no personal issues with anyone.”

Woman wakes up from surgery with accent
TOLEDO, Ore., May 5 (UPI) — Experts said an Oregon woman who awoke from a dental surgery with a British-sounding accent is suffering from a rare condition known as foreign accent syndrome.
Karen Butler, 56, of Toledo said she awoke from dental implant surgery in 2009 with her speaking voice altered to a British-sounding accent with a bit of Transylvanian thrown in the mix, ABC News reported Thursday.
“I had just had surgery, so at first we assumed it was because of all of the swelling,” Butler said. “But within a week the swelling went down and the accent stayed.”
Dr. Ted Lowenkopf, a neurologist and medical director at Providence Stroke Center in Portland, Ore., said Butler has foreign accent syndrome, which is so rare only 60 confirmed cases have been documented around the world. He said the condition usually follows a minor stroke and stems from a minor injury to the part of the brain responsible for language pattern and tone.
“Although we think it sounds like a British accent, if you had a language expert listening to her, they would say that’s not an English accent,” Lowenkopf said. “It’s sort of an amalgam of different-sounding speech that sounds like a foreign accent. But it’s not truly typical of any one foreign accent.”
Butler said she takes the teasing from her friends and family in stride and the condition has actually been a boon to her social skills.
“I used to be painfully shy, and now there’s always something to talk about,” she said.

Paris Hilton Starts Another Feud With Lindsay Lohan
Paris Hilton is pulling the punches- and at the cost of Lindsay Lohan. Sources are reporting that Paris slammed Lindsay Lohan on her reality show and Lindsay Lohan is now telling everyone she’s hurt.
Here’s how it went down: Paris was filming scenes for her show while “volunteering” (i.e. creating a photo op) at a shelter when a homeless woman asked if she could have one of Paris’ earrings.When Paris handed it over, the woman said, “I’m going to give them to my sister as soon as I get back to Oklahoma and I’m going to tell them that Lindsay [gave them to me]… I thought you were supposed to be in rehab?”
Paris’ response? “I’m not Lindsay! If I were Lindsay I’d be stealing the earrings, not giving them away.”
