Royal Wedding Preparations Underway

There’s excitement in the air across the pond as Royal Wedding preparations are underway and the city (and world!) are all abuzz for the upcoming nuptials of Kate Middleton and Prince William. Enjoy the shots of oak trees being brought in to symbolize (known as floriography) the acorn in Kate Middleton’s Royal Crest, wedding watchers camping outside Westminster Abbey, and exterior shots of Westminster Abbey where the Royal Wedding will take place as seen in London.The oak trees also represent the idea of green culture, whereby the trees can be planted after the ceremony instead of being thrown away like flowers.

Kristin Cavallari is Engaged!

Our favorite Hills star is going to tie the knot! We’re excited to find out that Kristin Cavallari is engaged to football hottie Jay Cutler!

People.com Reports:

A source close to the couple confirms to PEOPLE that Cutler proposed over the weekend during their getaway in Cabo San Lucas.

“He surprised her with a quick trip to Cabo to ask her to marry him,” the source says. “He had asked her dad for permission.”?

Cavallari, 24, who also appeared on The Hills, and Cutler, 27, the quarterback for the Chicago Bears, have been dating since last fall.

“I’m in love,” she told PEOPLE earlier this year, “and it’s been great.”

Her rep couldn’t be reached for comment.
