On the Set of Weekends at Bellevue
Actress Lauren Ambrose and her co-star Janet McTeer filmed the first scenes of their TV pilot “Weekends at Bellevue” in Gramercy Park in New York. Lauren plays Ellie, the psychiatrist in charge of the weekend shift of Bellevue Hospital psychiatric unit.

Donald Sutherland Takes a Soho Night Out

Donald Sutherland took a night out for dinner at SOHO House last night. According to Deadline.com, Broadway veterans Jimmy Smits and Donald Sutherland are both set to star in television pilots this season. Smits will appear in anuntitled NBC crime drama, while Sutherland is set for NBC’s My Life As an Experiment.

R.I.P. Elizabeth Taylor
Elizabeth Taylor has passed away, her publicist told CNN Wednesday. She was 79.
Taylor died “peacefully today in Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles,” said a statement from her publicist. She was hospitalized six weeks ago with congestive heart failure, “a condition with which she had struggled for many years. Though she had recently suffered a number of complications, her condition had stabilized and it was hoped that she would be able to return home. Sadly, this was not to be.”
