Katie Price’s estranged husband Alex Reid is said to have ‘flipped’ when he heard about her crazy night at Elton John’s post-Oscars bash on Sunday with Argentinian model Leandro Penna.

Katie, 32, posted a photo of herself with Leandro, 25, on social networking site Twitter the day after Elton’s do.

But while she parties in LA, cage fighter Alex, 35, is living with his mum and meeting lawyers to discuss his divorce from the glamour girl – best known as Jordan.

‘Alex’s hurt has turned to rage,’ a friend tells The Sun.

‘His humiliation continues.

‘She keeps dangling the carrot that there’s a glimmer of hope for them.

‘But she’s just being cruel.’

Meanwhile, Alex has rubbished rumours that he has a new lady in his life after pictures surfaced of him chatting to a pretty brunette.

‘What girlfriend??’ he Tweeted last week.
She was interviewing me 4 London fashion week,photo doesn’t show camera crew in back ground.’
