It’s Gerard Butler vs Olivier Martinez, and they’re not battling it out out roles or ladies. Nay, these two gents entered into a quarrel over the size of their, um, family jewels. It got to the point where Martinez’s squeeze, Halle Berry had to intervene.
Butler and Martinez were getting along swimmingly at the Harvey Weinstein Dior pre-Oscar party until Butler became a bit too saucy with his endowment remarks. The Daily Mirror reports that Butler told Berry she didn’t know what she was missing by dating a Frenchman. Gag me.
Butler wouldn’t let up on Martinez, and it escalated to the point where Martinez got up and confronted Butler about his crass behavior. A Mirror spy told the paper,
“Gerard began mucking around, bragging about Scotsmen and the size of their packages. He was joking that he could wear kilts and no undies because he was a ‘real man’, and that other Europeans wouldn’t be able to pull a kilt off.
“As the conversation continued, he got more lewd – and funny – but Olivier got less and less impressed. After one gag too many at his expense, he stood up and confronted Gerry.
“Olivier was red in the face and gesticulating wildly. So Halle told them both to lighten up.”
Martinez probably regaled his lunch buddy with tales of an arrogant Butler yesterday in West Hollywood. After, he hopped on his bike and congratulated himself for scoring Halle Berry. “Butler is a slut and he can take his manhood to the free clinic,” Martinez’s inner monologue read.
