Long gone are the days when people would cry into a gallon of ice cream whilst writing hate-filled bad karma notes into their diaries post break-up.
Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens just pretty much went on living their lives just one day after the biggest split of Disney history besides Britney and Justin.
Zac bolted out of LA to New Orleans on Sunday and hung out with Kellan Lutz at the Saints game and a hot NFL wife named Karimar Brown.
She even tweeted about how happy Efron seemed, saying he “seemed fine.”
“Wouldn’t have guessed anything was wrong… But he is an actor.”
How weird is that?! What married woman of a public figure tweets about a Hollywood actor’s personal life?! As for Vanessa, her 22nd birthday is today, and she’s going all out to celebrate.
Pure Nightclub in Vegas is hosting the bash this Saturday. Perfect place for a newly single young girl to celebrate!
While reps claim this was a mutual decision made by both parties, you know it was just a matter of their High School Musical contract coming to an end.
My money is on Zac to really make something of his career….sorry Vanessa.
We’re probably the only ones in this world that loved this relationship, but we’re sad to see Dex and his sister split. Huffington Post reports:
Dexter’s latest victim? His marriage. According to Entertainment Weekly, the show’s stars, Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter, have filed for divorce.
The on-screen siblings and off-screen couple announced their divorce after nearly two years of marriage, having eloped on New Year’s Eve, 2008 (they dated for a year and a half before marrying). The couple’s representatives issued a joint statement to EW saying, “Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce.”
At least there was no bloodshed — each star’s rep said that the split was amicable.
Hall announced in January that he was receiving treatment for Hodgkin’s lymphoma; he claimed his Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Series Drama while wearing a knit cap over his then-bald head. Carpenter announced in April that Hall had fully recovered from the disease.
Also over?
David Thewlis and actress Anna Friel have split up after nine years of being together. They have one child, a 5-year-old daughter named Gracie.
Thewlis, 47, is best known for his role in the ‘Harry Potter’ series as Remus Lupin; Friel, 34, played Charlotte ‘Chuck’ Charles on TV series ‘Pushing Daisies.’
The Daily Mail reports the couple have been apart for the last six months due to acting commitments. A source told the newspaper, “Things have not been great for a long time and they have tried to keep this quiet to protect everyone … there are other issues at hand that have made them realize the relationship was over.”
