Penn Badgley steps out for the Duracell Mobile Smart Power Lab on Tuesday (December 21) in New York City.
The 24-year-old Gossip Girl actor, who was accompanied by 90210’s Tristan Wilds, unveiled the Phillips LED numeral machine to be used for the New Years Countdown in Times Square.
After its run in Times Square, the charging station will make its way to disaster areas next year, according to the NY Times. The power source will help charge cell phones, laptops and rechargeable batteries.
