Christina Ricci has confessed that she used to hate her body and still doesn’t like looking in mirrors.
The Alpha And Omega star suffered from anorexia after being catapulted to fame at the age of ten and still struggles with self-esteem issues in her adult life.

“For years, I hated myself,” she stated to Contactmusic via digitalspy. “I covered the mirrors in my house. I literally couldn’t have a mirror in my room.

“I still can’t sit in a restaurant or someplace where I can catch my reflection. I get so paranoid.”

However, Ricci explained that stripping down for her role in 2007′s Black Snake Moan went some way to boosting her body confidence.

“For that, I needed to lose any self-consciousness because I feel sometimes you can see that in a nude scene.”

A pumpkin of 1,169 pounds, a Utah state record, is dropped onto a Pontiac 6000 from a 175-foot-high crane at Hee Haw Farms in Pleasant Grove, Utah, destroying the vehicle. The pumpkin was grown by Matt McConkie, of Mountain Green, Utah. The descent speed of the pumpkin reached 67 mph in 3.1 seconds before obliterating.
