Julia Roberts is said to be in the process of trying to adopt a child from India.

The 42-year-old, who was in London last week for the premiere of her film Eat Pray Love, already has three children with cameraman Danny Moder – twins Hazel and Finn, five, and Henry, three.

She suffered from complications during her previous pregnancies but is still keen to add to her brood.

According to one of her closest pals she and Danny, 41, who married eight years ago, are set to follow in the footsteps of fellow Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Madonna and Meg Ryan by adopting a child from abroad.

“Julia has wanted more children for years,” the friend says. “But her past pregnancies were fraught with complications and she was forced into an extended hospital stay right before she had her twins. After all she has been through, she realises that adoption is perhaps the best way forward.”

The actress, who recently converted to the Hindu faith, has apparently put out ­feelers in the subcontinent.

“She has a special affinity with India and has contacts exploring the possibilities,” adds the friend. She is also said to have contacted an adoption agency in Bali, where she spent time filming Eat Pray Love.

“Julia and Danny love the idea of their kids having another baby in the house,” the pal says. “And it feels so right that the next member of the family should come from a different culture.”

Julia, who made her name in 1990 hit Pretty Woman, has previously dated a string of Hollywood stars including Liam Neeson, Matthew Perry and Benjamin Bratt.

She was also engaged to Kiefer Sutherland but ended the relationship three days before the wedding in 1991 and was married to musician Lyle Lovett from 1993 to 1995.

Julianne Moore’s new children’s book, Freckleface Strawberry now turned hit musical debuted yesterday to rave reviews. Opening night of the world-premiere benefited the Save The Children Organization. The musical — about a seven-year-old girl whose freckles mark her as different.

“Writing a children’s book was always a dream,” Moore said in a statement. “Seeing the story come to life on stage in a musical is more than I ever imagined.” The book is based on her experiences as a freckle-faced kid. Adult actors play kids in the show.

Lindsay Lohan entered rehab at the Betty Ford Center in California earlier this week, and Radaronline.com spoke with a source who has gone through the same program.

According to the source, Lindsay’s day follows this schedule:

* 7 am wake up call
* 7:30 am breakfast (this consists of an omelet cooked to her liking or her choice of cereal, pancakes, fresh fruit)
* 8 am meditation followed by chores (chores are assigned during the first four days depending on Lindsay’s attitude)
* 9 am group therapy
* 11 am individual therapy
* 12 pm lunch
* 1 pm grief group
* 3 pm exercise (Lindsay can only work out in the gym or do water aerobics)
* 4 pm meeting
* 6 pm dinner
* 10 pm lights out

The source tells Radar that Lindsay’s family will not be allowed to visit until her third week, phones are permitted only on Sundays and there is no television. Lindsay will reportedly spend 28 days in the program then move to aftercare, a group residence off hospital grounds.
