Actor Philip Seymour Hoffman wearing a pair of plaid shorts and wheeling a piece of luggage, left his apartment in New York City yesterday. He headed out on his way, but not before we snapped this picture. He has a movie being released on the 17th, “Jack Goes Boating” an indie film which he directed. A romantic-comedy about love, betrayal and friendship between two New York City couples and based on a theatrical play, it premiered at the Toronto Film Festival.

This D List star/model who is always hungry for attention, met her boyfriend in the strangest of ways. He was a longtime fan of hers, bordering on stalking her at some points in her career. He kept locks of her hair and ran a fan site. He sent her fan mail every week and at a point of desperation, she agreed to meet up with him. She claims it was love at first sight and the two have been dating ever since.

After pleading guilty to driving under the influence of drugs, George Micheal was sentenced to eight weeks in jail.

“It does not appear that you took proper steps to deal with what is clearly an addiction to cannabis,” Judge John Perkins told Michael in a London court Tuesday. “That’s a mistake which puts you and, on this occasion, the public at risk.”
