We don’t understand Lindsay Lohan. We just don’t get her. We know she’s addicted to drugs by her own admission, but we think she has a crazy relationship with fame too. She showed up to a popular celeb salon-dive and then covered up her face after leaving the Raya salon with her sister Ali and her brother.

This famous cable prank show could probably give some great blinds all on its own. We did manage to hear this piece of gossip from the now defunct show: An episode and prank never aired because the celebrity who was the target of the joke reacted in a way that could have destroyed his career. The prank involved being asked to break the law by getting asked out by an underage girl (she was 18 but played 15 on the prank) and when the celeb accepted the young lady’s requests, everyone on the show went scrambling to control the situation. A new prank was arranged and staged and the real show was never shown.

Emmy Rossum visits a medical building in a maroon dress and high black boots in Beverly Hills this week. Lovely! Wearing a draped dress like LUPATTELLI ($122) and midcalf boots. A leopard print Coach bag ($98) adds a little splash and gold and black jewels finish off the whole ensemble.

Forget weaving and stitching clothes. A new material could be sprayed directly onto your body and have you ready to go out in minutes.

Particle engineer Paul Luckham and fashion designer Manel Torres from Imperial College London combined cotton fibres, polymers and a solvent to form a liquid that becomes a fabric when sprayed. The material can be built up in layers to create a garment of your desired thickness and can also be washed and worn again like conventional fabrics.

In addition to creating instant fashion, the technology could have a range of other uses – spray-on bandages, for instance. “It’s a sterilised material coming from an aerosol can, and you can add drugs to it to help a wound heal faster,” says Torres.

On Monday, a fashion show at Imperial will feature the first couture collection created with the material.
